Live Your Storrie: Crafting for a Cause

Please join me Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 AM for a very special morning of crafting, fellowship, and giving as we come together to surround our friend Amy and her family with love and support.

Your $30 registration includes five beautiful projects featuring the Crafted Blooms Kit. Come craft with us and enjoy creating your projects together.

Most importantly, a portion of every registration will be donated directly to Amy’s family to help with medical expenses.

There’s a Very Special Story Behind Live Your Storrie

This event began with an extraordinary act of generosity.

David DuBois is living with ALS and now communicates using his eyes. After spending several years helping raise awareness and funds for ALS, David made a remarkable request: this year, instead of directing that support toward himself, he wanted it to help someone else.

He chose our friend Amy Storrie.

Amy is a fellow crafter and Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. In the midst of treatments, difficult medical tests, and the recent loss of her mom, Amy continues to create, teach, encourage others, and hold tightly to her faith.

David and Amy are walking very different roads, but their stories share something beautiful: a determination to keep living with faith, hope, joy, and love even when life writes chapters they never would have chosen.

And that is the heart behind Live Your Storrie.

We may not get to choose every chapter of our story, but we can choose how we live it. We can love generously. We can show up for one another. We can give hope. Sometimes, we can even do a little crafting along the way.

David’s heart has always been to use his story to bring greater awareness to ALS. We hope you’ll take a few moments to learn more about David, his journey, and the message he continues to share.

I hope you’ll join us as we craft, give, and remind Amy and her family that they are surrounded by a community that cares. 💗

Aloha,
Cindy
