Hello Beautiful: 6 Card Ideas + Special Opportunity!

At the end of February, I co-hosted a class called Hello Beautiful with my sweet friend Missy Shipman of the Glad Heart stampers. In today’s post I want to share with you all the projects we made at our class.

First, let’s take a look at all the projects. There was a card clutch and 6 fun fold cards that were all made with the Hello Beautiful Stamp Set, Abstract Beauty Designer Paper, Large Memories and More Cards, Mother of Pearl Paper and Iridescent Jewel Rhinestones.

Hello Beautiful Class

I designed the cards and Missy designed the clutch. I created a video tutorial to show how to make the clutch. If you have large Memories and More cards then you will love learning how simple it is to make a cute clutch to store your cards in. You can click the video tutorial below to learn how.

Let’s take a closer look at the fun fold cards. The first two cards were book fold cards. The Abstract Beauty DSP is so beautiful and it’s in a fun new 4 x 6 size, so its PERFECT for the large Memories and More cards.

The next two cards were split front cards. I purposely did the split on two different sides to add variety. These cards have a pocket inside that you can use for a gift card.

Here is a photo of this card open so you can see how the front is split.

The final two cards had a score line in the front. On the first card, I folded the scored part back and covered it with a gold striped piece of the Abstract Beauty DSP.

I used the same scored line in the final card but instead of folding it back, I folded it in to form a pocket and give it a different look.

I added a piece of the Abstract Beauty DSP on the inside pocket and now it is pretty in pink and ready to hold a gift card or little note.

Missy and I really enjoy adding little fun surprises to our class kits. Here are the fun surprises we included in our Hello Beautiful Class Kits.

There was a card that we created with the small Memories and More cards, a cute little pin created with the Beautiful Shapes Dies, Beauty Brand Peach Tea and finally a double compact mirror so that our guests could open it up, see their reflection and be reminded of how beautiful they are!

If you missed this class but would like the dimensions for these cards, it’s not too late. I have a PDF tutorial that has photos, measurements and I’ll even include the exclusive class video tutorials. It’s not quite the same as getting a kit that has everything prepped for you but it will give you the opportunity to get a closer look at the class, learn how the projects were put together so that you can create something beautiful with your favorite stamping supplies.

A special thanks to all of you who purchased kits and attended class. Missy and I had such a great time creating with you. As Missy says, I’m so glad we are “linked by ink”.

Have a beautiful day,

Cindy
