Featured Cards From Summer Pool Party Class

Check out some of my favorite new products featured in the Pool Party-themed class!

Pool Party is one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors. A few weeks ago I hosted a Summer Pool Party Class that featured 5 projects all made with Pool Party Cardstock and my favorite new Stampin’ Up! products.

Summer Pool Party Class

Which do you like best?

Since some people were going to be stamping along with me in this class, I created a sample with each design using our Hippest Hippo stamp set, which is one of our current Sale-a-Bration stamp sets. This gave me the opportunity to share the same card template with more than one design. Below you can see how I created the same template but used a variety of products so I could highlight some of my new favorite things. This first pair features the Sweet Songbird Bundle and the Hippest Hippo Set.

One of my favorite new sets is the Yeti to Party set, I think it makes such a cute birthday card, don’t you?

Below the Yeti card you can see how I used to Hippo images and a different embossing folder to create a similar card. This card also has a pocket for a gift card inside.

Of course my FAVORITE card of the class was created with the Snowman Magic stamp set! This was such a fun set to work with. You can check out the card and the video below.

Check out how I created the same layout with the ‘Hippest Hippo’ stamp set too!

The final project of the class featured the Sunny Splash stamp set. I am all about “themes” so this set was the perfect one to use for a Pool Party themed class, don’t you think?

This project was made with one of our new Embossed Treat Bags. This sturdy bag is perfect for wrapping small gifts, holding a set of cards, or party favors!

If you want to learn how to make any of these projects, check out my latest videos on YouTube. I hope that these simple, sunny and fun ideas will inspire you to “dive” into your crafting supplies and get to work “making a splash” of beautiful creations.

Happy Stampin’

Cindy
