Last week I hosted my monthly Stamp A Stack class. Class was really full both on Saturday and Sunday and I really enjoyed sharing these cards with the wonderful ladies who attended the class.
Here are the cards we created.
The first card is one you've seen before. Its a fall looking card created with the Vintage Leaves stamp set that I shared in a recent post about my Dad's birthday.
Everyone loved the Fall colors which were inspired by this cute new Starbucks Fall card.
This pattern could easily be repeated for the upcoming Holiday season by simply changing the stamp set.
At our recent Stamp Camp someone created this adorable gift card holder for our swap. I was thrilled to receive such a cute project. I wish I knew who to thank for giving this to me! If anyone knows whose swap this was please let me know so I can give them credit.
I was so inspired by this swap that I made my own version as a part of this month class but I used the stamp set Wrapped In Warmth to give it a different look.
This holder is made with one of our white Glassine bags that is folded in half and has a belly band wrapped around it. You can add a gift card to either the front pocket or directly on card that is inserted in the pocket.
Project three was created to match my Stamped With Aloha logo and the new t-shirts I just created. My logo combines Bermuda Bay and Wild Wasabi. If you haven't seen my new shirt yet it says, "Be A Pineapple" on the front in Bermuda Bay and here is what the back looks like.
The shirts have been extremely popular so I will be printing some more soon and will have a place where you can purchase them right on this site. Thanks so much to all of you who contacted me to tell me that you read my blog and were interested in a shirt before I even offered them. I was really happy to talk with so many of you to try and accommodate your t-shirt requests.
So here is the card inspired by my logo.
First, I want to tell you that I cut my pineapple stamp in two pieces. It makes it much easier to use when stamping a multi colored pineapple. Next, I want to tell you that I discovered that the sentiments from the stamp set Designer Tin of Cards, matches the base of the pineapple perfectly. So now you know of a great set to combine with your pineapple stamp to create a variety of cards.
My final card was my favorite. It uses the Layering Circles Framelits. I used the framelits to create a pumpkin pie out of Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie Card Stock. After I glued the Pie together and shooked the edges with Chocolate Chip ink I then took a slice out of the pie with my paper snips.
The set I used is called Party with Cake which is a retired set but one that was really popular last year. Normally the sentiment on this card would say, Its Time To Celebrate With Cake. To omit the word "cake" I took a clean stamp, placed a piece of scotch tape over the word cake. I inked up the stamp and removed the tape before stamping it which omits the word "cake". The Party with Cake stamp set comes with a very cute sentiment for the inside of the card which works perfectly for Thanksgiving.
Lori who appreciates "cute things" said that this card was her favorite.
I have a few more photos to share from the ladies who attended this class as well as a funny story to tell you so watch for it in my next post It was a really special weekend, one of those times where I sit back and think of how blessed I am to be surrounded by such amazing downline, customers and friends!
I love it when these ladies come over to stamp and we enjoy stamping together as well as sharing lots of creativity, love and aloha.
