Last week was my monthly Bunco games. The theme was Thanksgiving and both on Sunday and Monday my heart was filled with gratitude for all these wonderful people who come over for fellowship and fun.
The featured Stampin' Up! Products were from the beautiful Petals and Paisleys Suite. Our Aloha Prize was a gratitude journal that used many products from that collection.
One of my favorite parts of this journal is how I layered the Fabulous Foil Acetate over the Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper. I also love the sentiment, its my favorite stamp in the set and one that truly expresses how I feel. It is also perfect for a project like this where you can write down the things you are thankful for. When you remember all you have to be grateful for it can brighten even the most difficult of days.
The favors I created for Thanksgiving Bunco were photo frame place cards.
I thought this would be a fun way to dress up your Thanksgiving table. Instead of name cards, why not put photos of all your guests in this little frame to let them know how thankful you are for them.
Everyone really got into the Thanksgiving theme. My Sunday group coordinated an entire Thanksgiving feast with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry and pumpkin pie!
The food was so great and we had an abundance of food and treats so everyone had to take home left overs!
We were also surprised once again with a beautiful handcrafted pin that Rosita and Sarina made to bless all who came on Sunday.
I so appreciate that they took the time to create individual pins for all who attended. Here's a close up of their beautiful creations.
We had such a wonderful time. As you know Bunco is one of my favorite events each month. It is always so great to be reunited with such wonderful people each month and to meet the new friends who come to play.
As everyone left my home after both Sunday and Monday Bunco I reflected on how thankful I am to have the opportunity to gather with such wonderful people each month. I am truly grateful for the creativity that is shared and for the smiles and laughter that is always present every time we meet.
As Thanksgiving approaches this is just one of the many experiences I will be thankful for this year.
