Sending Love

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, it's the perfect time to send a love note to someone special.  Our brand new Sending Love suite in the Occasions catalog has the perfect products for you to create the most adorable Valentine's Day projects.

I love this set so much that I not only featured it last week at my Inspiration Night but I am also featuring it at our February Bunco Night as well as a special add on class that I will be having this Tuesday evening, in just a couple of days!!!

Here are my Sending Love Projects.  They are all made with the Sending Love Designer Paper Pack, a Real Red ink pad and of course the adorable Love Notes framelit dies.

The first card is this adorable note card that has a tiny love note on the front.

This tiny love note actually can be removed from the envelope and you can write a message on it.  The stamp set also comes with alternate sayings that fit this size so you can make a whole bunch of tiny note cards and use them on your projects or even string them together to make a love note banner.

The next card is also a little note card.

This one also uses the framelits to cut out these tiny hearts.  One of them is made out of red glimmer paper which adds a little sparkle to the front of this card.

This project once again shows off the cool framelit options that are available in the Love Notes collection.  I love this adorable heart and the way it pops!

The tiny hearts come from one of our Confetti Heart Border Punch.  This punch produces a variety of tiny hearts all at once so you could even throw some in the envelope to create a loving surprise for the recipient of this card.

The Sending Love suite also includes individual glassine sheets.  So I took them and created my own glassine bag to use as an pocket envelope for this card.  Do you want to know how I did this?

Sealed With A Kiss Pocket Card - www.stampedwithaloha.com

Sealed With A Kiss Pocket Card - www.stampedwithaloha.com

You cut your glassine sheet at 4 1/2 x 12.

Score it at 5 1/4 and 10 1/2.

Fold it up to resemble the photo above, you will have a small excess piece at the top.  Using a silicone mat on the sides, add a tiny border of adhesive of your choice to the sides, I used snail.

Place this into the heart embossing folder and run through the Big Shot. Don't emboss top flap.

Fold a 3 x 3 DSP Square to top flap as pictured above.  There will be some excess of the glassine sheet sticking out on the sides, just trim it with your paper snips and you are done!!!

Now you have the perfect glassine pocket to hold a little love note.  This one simply has a single stamped lip image on it.  This coordinates with the cute Sealed With A Kiss sentiment that is placed on the outside with dimensionals which helps hold the flap down when you seal this love note up!

I saved my favorite for last, this one actually says "Love Note" and is a matchbox style card.

When you open this card you will find an actual loose love note inside.

You can easily pull this little note out of the flap and write a special note to someone you love.

I shared these projects at last Tuesday's Inspiration Night.

Birthday Fiesta Fun

When I received my new catalog one of the first sets I was anxious to get my hands on was the Birthday Fiesta set.

I designed 5 projects for my June Inspiration Night using this fun suite of products.

 Let's take a closer look.

The Festive Designer Series Paper is so bright and colorful.   I feature it on each of the 5 projects I designed, including this simple birthday card with super fun greeting.  I colored two of the rhinestones with a red sharpie pen to add even more color.

The next project is one of my favorites to create.  It is a card in a bag.  You stamp a postcard and tuck it into one of our new glassine bags, fold the top of the bag, secure with a ribbon and you instantly have a creative way to package a card.

The inside of the card is made by creating a simple one sided postcard and tucking it inside the bag.

Isn't this Llama stamp fun?   There is plenty of space to write a message and even attach a gift card to the back if you so desire.

The next card is a white note card with a Happy Cactus featured on the front.

The face was drawn on with a Project Life journaling pen and goes perfectly with this sentiment from our new Badges and Banners stamp set and was punched out with our new Best Badge Punch.

The next project was a clear tiny treat box.  I filled it with candy and added a belly band of Festive DSP.  The flower was created by punching 3 pansy flowers and piercing all three in the center with a piercing tool.  I added a mini brad to hold them together and then scrunched the inside flowers together after spraying them with water.

When the wet scrunched card stock dries it will resemble actual flower petals.  The leaves were made with our new Blossom Builder Punch.

I always save my favorite project for last.  This little punch art Mariachi Man was created using some of our newest punches and framelits.  The mustache and tie were punched using our new Fox Builder punch.  The hat was made with our new Layering Oval Framelets.  The 1 3/8 circle punch created by body and face and the eyes were drawn on with a Project Life Pen.

The word "AMIGO" was stamped using our new Labeler Alphabet stamp set.  This set comes with 101 photopolymer letters that make it easy to create custom sentiments.

This project is a folded glassine bag.  I cut off the edge of the bag and folded it to create a simple gift card holder.

The inside of the bag has an area stamped with another image from the Badges and Banners stamp set.  It is here that you would write your message and then the Emerald Envy card stock tucked inside the open part of the bag is where you would attach a gift card.

I really enjoyed designing these fun Festive projects.  It was fun to share them with my downline at our monthly Inspiration Night and hear their positive response.

I hope these projects inspire you to plan a Fiesta or at least create some Fun projects with this Fabulous Festive Birthday Suite.

Until next time, Adios Amigos!

January Stamp A Stack

My Stamp A Stack classes are by far my most popular classes that I hold each month.  People enjoy coming because in just a little over an hour they can leave prepared to send 12 cards out to celebrate the special occasions coming up for those they love.  At my stack classes if you place a $50 order you will get the 12 cards for FREE so it is quite a popular class.  Otherwise you pay $20 and have everything prepped for you to sit and stamp 12 beautiful cards while enjoying fun, fellowship and delicious treats!  Here are the four cards I did at my last stack class.

Make A Wish Tower Card

Make A Wish Tower Card

Card one was a tower card.  I usually prefer to do these cards with designer paper but with the amount of kits I have to prep for my stamp a stack attendees I needed to find a simple way of doing it with just card stock.  I was able to create a simple but fun design with one color of ink and create contrast by punching stars and layering it over a black strip of card stock.  This made it quick and simple to get a two tone look with just one color of ink.

Botanicals Thank You Card

Of Course I had to feature our new Botanical collection at my stack.  The most popular thing that people ordered at this class was this bundle because it costs $51.75 and comes with the stamp set, designer paper and framelets!  I've found that my customers here in Hawaii all LOVE this stamp set probably because these beautiful tropical flowers and leaves are so familiar to them.

Love Blossoms Friendship Card

There were two options for the next project which was a "card in a bag".  It was the first time I've done a card like this at my stamp a stack and it was a hit.

Love Blossoms Friendship Card In A Bag

Love Blossoms Friendship Card In A Bag

The first option was to make a birthday card.  This card also features the Perfect Pairings stamp set which is one of the most popular Saleabration free stamp set choices.  This card is perfect for anyone celebrating a February birthday.

Love Blossoms Valentine Card

The second option was to create this cute valentine card in a bag.  The lay out was the same, just different words were chosen.  Everything needed to create this card comes in the Bloomin' Love stamp set and you only need two ink pads.  I am in LOVE with these cute little bow paper clips.  They were the perfect way to embellish these simple and cute card in a bag projects.

Party With Cake Birthday Card

The final card was a simple card using the new Party With Cake stamp set.

Party Pop UP Birthday Card

Party Pop UP Birthday Card

The inside of this card is really fun.  It features our new Party Pop Up Framelets.  I love how detailed this little cake is and it takes this simple birthday card to a whole new level when you open it up to see the inside pop!

Speaking of Birthdays!  I can't wait to share with you all the fun we had at my ITS MY PARTY event that just finished this past weekend.  Be sure to come back on Wednesday to read all about the event and to see all the photos.

Until then,  Have a happy and blessed day!
