Valentine's Day is just around the corner, it's the perfect time to send a love note to someone special. Our brand new Sending Love suite in the Occasions catalog has the perfect products for you to create the most adorable Valentine's Day projects.
I love this set so much that I not only featured it last week at my Inspiration Night but I am also featuring it at our February Bunco Night as well as a special add on class that I will be having this Tuesday evening, in just a couple of days!!!
Here are my Sending Love Projects. They are all made with the Sending Love Designer Paper Pack, a Real Red ink pad and of course the adorable Love Notes framelit dies.
The first card is this adorable note card that has a tiny love note on the front.
This tiny love note actually can be removed from the envelope and you can write a message on it. The stamp set also comes with alternate sayings that fit this size so you can make a whole bunch of tiny note cards and use them on your projects or even string them together to make a love note banner.
The next card is also a little note card.
This one also uses the framelits to cut out these tiny hearts. One of them is made out of red glimmer paper which adds a little sparkle to the front of this card.
This project once again shows off the cool framelit options that are available in the Love Notes collection. I love this adorable heart and the way it pops!
The tiny hearts come from one of our Confetti Heart Border Punch. This punch produces a variety of tiny hearts all at once so you could even throw some in the envelope to create a loving surprise for the recipient of this card.
The Sending Love suite also includes individual glassine sheets. So I took them and created my own glassine bag to use as an pocket envelope for this card. Do you want to know how I did this?
You cut your glassine sheet at 4 1/2 x 12.
Score it at 5 1/4 and 10 1/2.
Fold it up to resemble the photo above, you will have a small excess piece at the top. Using a silicone mat on the sides, add a tiny border of adhesive of your choice to the sides, I used snail.
Place this into the heart embossing folder and run through the Big Shot. Don't emboss top flap.
Fold a 3 x 3 DSP Square to top flap as pictured above. There will be some excess of the glassine sheet sticking out on the sides, just trim it with your paper snips and you are done!!!
Now you have the perfect glassine pocket to hold a little love note. This one simply has a single stamped lip image on it. This coordinates with the cute Sealed With A Kiss sentiment that is placed on the outside with dimensionals which helps hold the flap down when you seal this love note up!
I saved my favorite for last, this one actually says "Love Note" and is a matchbox style card.
When you open this card you will find an actual loose love note inside.
You can easily pull this little note out of the flap and write a special note to someone you love.
I shared these projects at last Tuesday's Inspiration Night.
As you can see by all the smiles, everyone had a great time and there was a lot of love and aloha shared.
If you liked these projects and are interested in ordering the Sending Love Suite, I am offering this as a free class to anyone who orders the Sealed with Love bundle from me. The bundle costs $45.75 and if you add on one of the other smaller products from the Sending Love suite you will qualify not only for my free class but for a free Saleabration set as well. Class will be held on January 31st at my home, stop by anytime between 5pm and 8pm.
If you are not interested in ordering the bundle, you can still come. Class kits will cost $12 for the 5 projects. Just let me know by tomorrow so I can prepare a supply kit for you.
I hope this post has inspired you to take some time to create special cards to send to the ones you love. Cards that can be sent not only for Valentine's Day but all through the year where sending hand stamped love can make a difference in someone's life.
