Bright and Beautiful

Every Wednesday evening in August I pack up my supplies and head over to Kaneohe to stamp with a wonderful group of women at the First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu.

The class is only one hour long, so I have to demo three cards and help 16 people get through all three stations within that time.  I've enjoyed the challenge of designing simple cards that are still beautiful and easy to create in five minutes or less.

Here are the three cards we created last week.

The first card was a simple card that featured one of our newest "In Color'" stamp pads called Dapper Denim. The card stock and  patterned Paper from our In Color Paper Stack were also the new Dapper Denim.  I love how our ink, card stock, markers, designer paper, ribbon, buttons, washi tape, etc are all color coordinated.

.  The Flourishing Phrases stamp set is very versatile and includes a variety of beautiful sentiment stamps.

Card two featured my favorite new product the Fabulous Foil Acetate which I layered over a strip of Real Red card stock.  I used the butterflies thinlit dies and the precision plate with my Big Shot to create the gold foil butterfly.  This card was super simple and could be used for many different occasions.

It has been great getting to stamp with these wonderful women every Wednesday.  They've been doing a great job on their cards and always make me feel happy with their positive feedback about the cards I share with them.

The final card is a remake of one of my previous stamp a stack cards.  I just changed it from Real Red to Melon Mambo and laid it out a little differently.  I love how beautifully the Petals textured impressions embossing folder and this flower stamp from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set go so perfectly together.

The sentiment on this card says, "God wanted to brighten up the world...." and on the inside it says, "so He made you".

I love this saying and knew just the person who this card would be perfect for, my friend and worship team sister, Anna Marie.    This Friday just so happens to be her birthday and she is definitely someone who makes the world a brighter place with her bubbly personality and bright smile.

Did you like these SIMPLE cards created with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set?  I hope I have inspired you to use this set to make some Bright and Beautiful projects for the special people in your life so that they can be blessed with a Bright and Beautiful card that was created with aloha.
