Book Fold Card Tutorial + How To Make Beautiful Blended Flowers!

I can’t wait for you to try this Book Fold Card idea!

Recently, I purchased a beautiful journal as a gift for a friend’s birthday and of course, I wanted to create a card to match the gift. I used the journal as my inspiration. Since the journal has binding and rounded corners, I decided to create a simple book fold card.

For the front of the card, I used Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds stamp set to create beautiful blended flowers and colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.

Although I wouldn't consider myself an expert in coloring, it's an activity that I thoroughly enjoy as it has a calming effect and helps alleviate stress. When creating the flowers for these cards, my main challenge was to not overthink the placement of the colors. The beauty of the Stampin’ Blend markers lies in their ability to blend and layer colors seamlessly to create stunning color combinations. Ultimately, I was delighted with the final result of the card. If you look closely, you may notice how I drew inspiration from the journal.
