Spring Sensation Week Continues. Today's post will feature more of the projects we made at camp as well as highlight a few special moments.
Everyone loves little treats to use as party favors or hostess gifts. One of my favorite ways to package favors is with our clear tiny treat boxes. Because they are clear it allows everyone to see what special goodie is packaged inside.
To fit the theme of our stamp camp I wrapped a piece of the Succulent Garden Designer Paper around this clear tiny treat box. I embellished the top by using our new Star Blast Edgelit Dies that had been adorned with punched jeweled butterflies.
Inside this cute box was three individually wrapped thin Oreo cookies. I packaged them in our 2 x 8 cello bags. I used a heat sealer and was able to create three wrapped cookies per bag. The front and back of each cookie was decorated with punches and a sentiment from the stamp set Watercolor Wings.
The back of the cookies were decorated with a jeweled sentiment. I love this message that tells the recipient how much you appreciate special moments shared with them.
There were lots of special moments shared with friends at the stamp camp.
It was special to see friends enjoying creativity, working together while they did.
It was wonderful to see how friends took care of each other. Offering assistance with the projects or offering to go and get something they might need.
It was great to see all the smiles. It makes me happy to know that everyone was having fun!
It was contagious to hear the laughter, especially from these lovely ladies who had flown all the way from Maui to attend this event.
Another one of the projects we made was this very ornate Birthday card. It had succulents, rhinestones, blushing bride sequins and a tiny banner with a sentiment from the Oh So Succulent stamp set.
I learned how to make this card from my friend Kim Williams who sent me a pineapple birthday card created this way. You can get all the directions and dimensions on Kim's blog by clicking here: Triple Panel Card.
The back of the card is pretty too. Here is what it looks like.
You can either write your message directly on the center of the back of this card and when you fold the card it will be hidden. You could also insert a separate strip of paper in this section with your hand written message and that also would be hidden when the card is folded.
This is a very beautiful birthday card and the timing was perfect because we had a beautiful birthday girl at our stamp camp.
We were so blessed that Lori would choose to celebrate her birthday weekend with us at our stamp camp! I'm glad she got to make this special birthday card while she was there.
A final special moment happened as we were cleaning up from camp. Zeny's husband showed up to surprise her with a dozen roses to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
What a fun surprise and a special moment!
Well, there is STILL more to come. I want to show you our prize patrol, our gift baskets, our swaps, etc. So check back again this week for more updates as I highlight more special moments from our Spring Sensation Stamp Camp.
