Swapping is a fun way to share ideas. You design one card to fit a certain theme and then you duplicate it a set amount of times. At our Spring Sensation Stamp camp we had a Spring card swap.
When it was time to swap, everyone lined up in a big circle.
Then you walk from person to person swapping cards with them.
It's kind of like trick or treating but without the tricks! I think receiving a bag full of hand stamped cards is definitly a treat!
There were so many beautiful swaps. Here's a bunch from my bag. Our theme was spring cards for any occasion. I love having all these wonderful samples to inspire me.
Here is a close up look at some of my favorites.
I love the scallop and polkadot combination on Susan's Thinking of you card.
I love the soft stamped images that support Laverne's swirly spring flowers. This is a very pretty birthday card.
Heidi did a great job on this card. I love sunny sunflowers and this one is so warm and beautiful. A perfect design for Heidi who is so warm and beautiful herself!
Kim's card is blooming marvelous!!! I love how she put pink polka dots inside the jar. This is a super fun card done with one of my favorite stamp sets and featuring one of my favorite colors! PINK!
Yikes... I think I just gained 5 lbs just looking at Barbara's adorable Tasty Treats Birthday card. I love all the glittery embellishments.
Glenda's card has a wonderful message on it. A scripture from I Thessalonians 5:17 that reminds us the importance of giving thanks always. This was also a fun fold card.
This is what it looks like when you open it up. I love how she made the inside just as beautiful as the outside.
My favorite card in the swap was this beauty made by Robyn.
I loved how she used her simply score board to made an embossed back ground. I love the tropical flowers and leaves made from the Botanical Framelits. I love the way she sponged the texture and added a tiny drop of dazzling detail to make this card sparkle. I also love that the sentiment on this card celebrates the gift of friendship. Love, love, love, love it, could you tell? I would definitely give this card to a wonderful friend.
Well as you can see if you participated in the swap at camp, you were blessed to receive some really beautiful cards. I hope that everyone who joined our Spring Swap and Drop enjoyed these fabulous swap cards as much as I did.
Hope you have enjoyed Spring Sensation week so far. I know I've shared a lot about this event but there is STILL more to come, so stay tuned.
