One of the highlights of our stamp camp was our exciting prize patrol. Each member of my team comes up with their own design that features one of our fabulous products. During the camp we take little breaks to hear about the product and then give them away until each person attending wins!!!
Here are the prize patrol creations from last week's Birthday Bash stamp camp.
When I first saw Berd's prize patrol I was shocked because the wings on this dragonfly were colored and I know Berd is not a fan of coloring. When I said, "I can't believe you colored this!!!" she just smiled and said, "Come on, you know me better than that", because she had colored it using the Baby Wipe technique which doesn't require actual coloring at all.
If you aren't familiar with the baby wipe technique its super easy. You take some wet baby wipes and place them on a small plate or in a small plastic container. Drop a variety of colors on them with your reinkers and you have just created a customized colorful mock stamp pad! Press your stamp onto the colored wipes and stamp to reveal an array of colors with one impression! This is the perfect technique for those who don't like to color but enjoy creating colorful projects.
Norine was up next, she shared about how she created this cute birthday favor with our new mini egg cartons.
Norine shared that these containers come in a natural color but if you take one of our spritzer bottles and fill it with a little bit of rubbing alcohol and a few drops of reinkers, you can spray these containers and make them any color you desire.
These cartons will be great at Easter time but its good to know you can use them now for other occasions such as this cute birthday party favor.
Inside were some birthday balloons, a birthday greeting and some yummy cookies.
Jodi's prize was oh so cute!!! I am in love with this little Yummy In My Tummy stamp set. It's hard to see in this photo but even the cellophane window on the top of the box is stamped with Staz On Ink with those exact words, "Yummy in my Tummy", which is appropriate since the box is filled with candy.
Jodi made these in a variety of colors and they all were adorable and definitely a wonderful prize to all that received them.
Zeny loves boxes so naturally she chose to highlight our new Window Box Thinlit Dies that she used to create this cute hexagon box.
Rather than fill the box with candy, Zeny chose to make her favor into a tea light holder.
Zeny added a little extra piece inside so that her candle wouldn't slip and slide around inside the box. When the candle was turned on the box looked so beautiful.
Before we gave these out we actually dimmed the lights in the room so everyone could see how pretty they look when the lights are twinkling inside.
My prize patrol was last. I used one of our clear Tiny Treat boxes to create a Valentine Box with our Sealed With Love stamp set and Love Notes Framelits.
Isn't this tiny little Love Note on the top sooooooo cute.
The tiny little note can actually be removed in case you want to write a little love note to someone special.
Everyone really seemed to enjoy their prizes. We also had some wonderful prize baskets that were given away too.
I managed to get a few photos of the lucky recipients.
Another highlight of the camp was our birthday card Swap and Drop where 40 of us brought birthday cards to share with each other.
We lined up in a big circle all the way around the room.
This type of swapping is a lot of fun as each person gets to greet one another one at a time as they swap cards around the circle.
When they finished going through the line everyone walked away looking so happy.
Some couldn't even wait to get back to their seats to admire all the fun cards they had just received.
Just look at all the beautiful cards swapped at this event.
At the end of the day we received lots of hugs and kind words from happy campers heading home. As we cleaned up the room we were all so grateful to know that everything went so well and all our hard work was appreciated.
When I went outside and heard about all the power outages and other wind related problems happening that day I felt tremendously grateful to God for answering our prayers and blessing our day.
It was a day filled with inspiration, creativity, sharing, tasty treats, laughter, fellowship, fun and every moment was stamped with aloha. I can't wait till our next one!
