Pop of Pink Party

My monthly bunco is one of my favorite monthly gatherings and this month's theme was really fun.  I called it Black and White Bunco with a Pop of Pink because the featured product was our Pop of Pink Designer Specialty Paper as well as our Pop of Paradise stamp set.

I love the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper because Black and Pink is one of my favorite color combinations and this paper is even better because it has shiny Gold Foil accents in it as well.

Let's take a closer look at this months favors and Aloha prize.

These note cards feature the Pop of Pink DSP that is layered on a basic black card stock base.  I then used our new Layering Squares Framelits and cut out a piece of Gold Foil paper and mounted it onto the card with dimensionals.  I used a two inch circle punch and punched a piece of Whisper White card stock that would form the focal point for my pink pineapple image.  I then stamped the banner that said Thank You onto a Whisper White scrap and cut it out with paper snips.  A simple Melon Mambo jeweled flower from the Tree Builder Punch adds the finishing touch on this super simple Pink Pineapple Thank You Card.

As with many of my hand stamped favors, I put these on display on my Pampered Chef three tiered stand which provided a fun way to show off these adorable cards.

I was really happy with the outcome of this design and I immediately though of a friend who would love this card, my friend Kim.   Like me, she loves pineapples, especially Pink ones.  Just look at her blog, Pink Pineapple Paper Crafts to see for yourself!

September Bunco Aloha Prize and Favor - www.stampedwithaloha.com

The Aloha Prize was this simple dry erase board that I made by inserting a striped piece of Pop of Pink DSP into a clear magnetic frame.  I added the same pineapple embellishment to the top to create a focal point and found words from the Pop of Paradise stamp set which is the same set as the pineapple and thank you banner stamp came from.

I used a dry erase pen to write out some important things to remember for the day.  To be an inspiration, to spend time being creative, to share your creativity and love with others and to come to bunco!

On Sunday these two lovely ladies gave us all a special surprise.  They came in and said that they didn't have "pink" to wear so they dressed in black and white and brought their "Pop of Pink" to share with everyone.  How sweet of them to create these cute little post it note favors for us all.  Didn't I tell you I was blessed.
