This past weekend I held my monthly Stamp A Stack classes. This is one of my favorite classes to host where people come and receive instructions and supplies to create 12 cards all in the comfort of my home. It was especially sweet because we had a few new stampers join us and its alway great to see their excitement as they discover new ideas and techniques to inspire their creativity.
Here are the four cards I taught this month, all featuring products from our newest catalog.
The Jars of Love stamp set is great. Many of my customers commented how they liked this set and the fact that it comes with three jars with so many options.
I created this card to be a Friendship Card. It featured our new Sparkle Textured Embossing Folder and I brushed a little Wink of Stella on and around the Fireflies to add shimmer.
This bright and cheerful note card below was created with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. This is a BEAUTIFUL set also that comes with coordinating framelits. I didn't use any coordinating framelits at this class but instead focused on our newest embossing folders.
I love how perfectly the Petal Burst Textured Embossing folder shown on the Real Red strip of card stock matches with the petals of the stamped flower. To complete this card I added a punched jeweled flower for dimension and sparkle.
The next two cards have something in common. They both show new In Colors and they both have a sentiment stamped on them from our Designer Tin of Cards stamp set. The first card shown below also features one of my favorite new Textured Impressions folders called Festive.
I love that the Pop of Paradise set has a Pineapple in it. Of all the stamps in the set, I chose my favorite 3 images to make this card. The leaves are so pretty and the pineapple so cute. I added a jeweled punched flower from the Tree Builder Punch and stamped both the Pineapple and the leaves in Flirty Flamingo which is probably my favorite of the new In Colors.
The final card featured the set Swirly Bird. This set was not on my original wish list of stamps to buy. However, after seeing so many beautiful samples of what you can do with it, I had to have it.
As I do with most of my stack cards, I made it REALLY simple. This one was voted the class favorite. I think everyone enjoyed using the splatter stamp that comes in the Swirly Bird set and I also got to show everyone our new Layering Circles Framelits. Only the scalloped Wasabi colored circle was cut with the Big Shot, the white circle was punched with a 2 inch punch. This card also shows another new In Color, Sweet Sugarplum.
Again the sentiment on this card came from our super cute new Designer Tin of Cards stamp set. I showed all of my customers the Tin that I had made and they loved the cards so much that they expressed an interest in making a tin of their own so on Sunday, August 7th at 2pm I will be having a class where you can make the Tin of Cards using my stamp set.
In case you haven't seen this adorable card kit here is a closer look of what it comes with..
There are enough supplies to make 16 cards. This is a great project to make and use or it makes an amazing gift. When completed your cards will look like this.
Why not buy an extra for your best friend and then invite them over to stamp with you? How about buying one now to put together for a Birthday or Christmas gift and once these cards are created and organized you can continue to fill the tin until the special day arrives?
I was able to put all 16 cards together in just a little less than an hour. It was simple, organized and fun! It made me feel like I accomplished a lot in just a short amount of time.
Well I hope you enjoyed these new cards, the first of my new catalog creations! I hope to get back in my stamp room tomorrow so there will soon be many more to samples to share.
Have a Happy and Blessed Holiday Weekend.
