I LOVE the Shine On Designer Series Paper so much. Since it will be retiring soon I wanted to use it as often as possible before it's gone. So I featured it at my April Inspiration Night along with the Iced Rhinestone Jewels.
This printed designer paper is really fun because it's matte on one side and super shiny on the other. These projects were quick and simple and loved by all who attended this fun gathering. Here is a closer look at each project.
These Petite Cafe' Bags are really cute and make it very easy to wrap a small gift or treat! Do you see how I used the Festive Flower Builder Punch to make leaves for the flower?
This treat box was simple on the outside. You could easily take this project to the next level by adding a ribbon or belly band.
The inside contains a fun stamped message with an iced rhinestone embellishment. This box is the perfect size to hold a ring pop. The one I have pictured above is actually a blinking ring pop, how FUN!
The next project is this cute Celebrate gift card holder. The wooden emebellishment is a nice contrast to the rest of this card.
The inside of the card features a small pocket made out of the Shine On DSP. This is the perfect spot to hold a gift card for the birthday recipient.
This Congrats card would be great for many different occasions but most likely I will use it for Graduation season which is coming very soon.
My final card featured this adorable little artist from the set Talented Trio. This set is retiring so now is the time to get it so you'll have this sweet stamp to use for other occasions.
Speaking of adorable and talented, did I tell you that my friend Robyn from Australia was in town and able to attend Inspiration Night? Well, it was a such a HUGE blessing to have her attend. She blessed me with the MOST adorable card. Are you ready for this???
Isn't this the most adorable card you have ever seen? And that is not all, Roybn also made her favors with the same super cute Koala punch art.
These favors are so adorable. I LOVE THEM and not only do they look good but they have the most delicious candy treat inside, a caramel filled chocolate koala bear!
I was so blessed to receive such an adorable card that I know was made with love and aloha!
Brenda Cardinal was also able to attend my Inspiration Night. It was wonderful to have her. She's been able to attend a few of my classes and events while she is vacationing in Hawaii which has been great.
Brenda graciously offered to share some tips and techniques with my group. Here are four of the cards she spoke about at my gathering.
Since Zeny and I had just returned from OnStage, there were tons of card samples to share.
There were so many samples to see we covered several tables.
We also had one copy of our new catalog there which made everyone so happy!
As usual we are spoiled by Craig who cooks us delicious food for all of our meetings.
My downline also received a card I made for each one of them with a new hostess set called, Pun Intended.
I also gave out cards to my downline who promoted or who qualified in the top ten in sales. These cards were created with the new Painter's Palette Stamp Set, Playful Palette DSP and new In Colors.
All in all it was a wonderful night of inspiration, stamping, creativity and FUN. My kind of night.
Well, I hope you enjoyed hearing about our April Inspiration Night and were inspired by the projects shared with you today.
Have a blessed day!
