Sweet Pineapple Card

If you follow my blog or if you've been to my home you know that I love pineapples.  As I sit here are write this I glanced around the room and I spotted 30 of them.  They are on the backs of my dining chairs, on my lamps, on pillows, on my kitchen cutlery, on my mugs and glasses, etc.  There are even a couple of them growing in my back yard!   It appears that I do have some sort of a sweet addiction to pineapples.

Years ago I learned that pineapples are a symbol of hospitality.  Because of this, I made the pineapple a symbol for my Stamped With Aloha group.  I want everyone that is a part of my team to feel welcomed, loved and appreciated.

So now that you know about my love of pineapples you will understand why I am often inspired by all the beautiful pineapples I see everyday.   My sweet addiction is what inspired the pineapple card I made this week.

This simple pineapple was made with two punches.  The small star punch and the extra large oval punch.  It is accented, like many of my creations with the flower punch from the itty bitty accents punch pack.  The body of the pineapple is a piece of paper from Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper Pack.  The sentiment on this card, stamped in watermelon wonder ink comes from the Apple Of My Eye stamp set

I hope you like this sweet pineapple card that can be used as a Thank You card or just as a unexpected blessing for a sweet friend.  You could send this to someone and tell them this (my favorite new saying), "Be a pineapple,  stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside."
