I love my monthly Stamp A Stack classes. Its an opportunity for me to share my love of creativity and stamping with so many wonderful people who come over to stamp with me. Our February stack was filled with lots of new faces and special friends.
Dorothy a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from Illinois was vacationing on Oahu at just the perfect time, so she was able to attend my stack and stamp with me. It is always nice meeting new people and making new friends.
Our first card featured a bright sunshine that was created with our new Sunburst Sayings Thinlet. I hope that Dorothy while on vacation here will enjoy our beautiful weather and the Aloha Spirit that brightens every day here in paradise!
Our next project was voted one of the favorites. The Balloon Celebration is such a fun set and if you purchase the bundle you can have the coordinating punch so that you can make some quick colorful balloons in any color you desire!
Speaking of Happy Birthdays, I recently had two very special customers give birth to babies around the same time.
It was fun to see these two mommies reunite and introduce each other their new little bundles of joy.
It was hard for everyone to concentrate on my demonstration because everyone was so excited to meet these two little cutie pies.
Our next project was created with the Helping Me Grow stamp set and colored in using aqua painters.
This card was designed as a Thank You card but some chose to stamp a "sympathy" sentiment on it as I have had a lot of requests for sympathy cards in the last few weeks.
Well, I always save my favorite card for last and I could tell as I was demoing it that it was going to be the favorite of others too!
Here it is, a Hula Bear Note Card that is so pretty in pink.
I purposely used a sentiment from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set so everyone could see more than one use for that set. The skirt was made with the Bear Hugs Framelet and I cut the skirt using fringe scissors. I punched the little flower with the itty bitty punch pack flower and curled the edges in towards the center to make it look a little smaller.
All in all it was a fabulous weekend of stamping, meeting two precious babies, making new friends, sharing, creativity and FUN. My next stack is going to be on Saturday, March 12th at 10am or Sunday, March 13th at 3pm, I hope you can join the fun!
