During the holiday season I love receiving cards from family and friends. I love to see the hand stamped creations my Stampin' Up! friends have made as well as the many photo cards that display the beautiful faces of family and friends, many whom I haven't seen in a long time.
Yesterday, when I got the mail I received a package from Australia from a very sweet friend named Robyn. Robyn is an excellent stamper and I love her attention to detail. I wasn't expecting anything from her so her package was certainly a surprise!
I opened the card first and WOW was I amazed. Look at this adorable greeting that was personalized because Robyn knows of my love of pineapples. The surfboard is mounted in a way that it has motion and bounces up and down on the waves like a true surfing pineapple man would do!
This card really blessed me. It reminded me of the days we would go to the Kahala hotel for brunch when the kids were little and watch Santa as he arrived via the ocean in an outrigger canoe. Many people can't imagine a tropical Christmas but I have spent Christmas in Hawaii for most of my life and I feel truly blessed to have done so.
As I gazed upon all the little details of this Pineapple I wondered how my creative friend came up with this concept. Then I reached into the bag to find another surprise...
This oh so cute pineapple candy from Australia. I LOVE how she made the pineapple man match. If you know me or follow my blog you know I love inspired creations and this certainly is one that I not only love but was so BLESSED to receive.
Thank you Robyn, for blessing my day with this beautiful card and thoughtful gift. You have certainly made my Christmas season brighter by sending me this wonderful hand stamped surprise!
