I normally make about 300 cards to swap at convention. I make a lot because swapping is one of the best parts of attending a Stampin' Up! event. Demonstrators love to share their creations with each other and you only have to think of one idea and reproduce it but in turn you receive hundreds of fabulous ideas to share with others. This year I did something I rarely do, I participated in two private swaps.
First let me share the card I did for general swapping. Since I am from Hawaii, I often like to spread a little aloha as I swap so I designed a pineapple gift card. This was a remake from a Hawaiian Themed class I did a few weeks ago. I'll post photos from that class soon. Here are my pineapple swaps hot off the press.
This swap was created for a private Leadership swap I participated in. This card was from one of my recent "gold rush" bingo classes. I love this card because it is very quick and simple but elegant and using a combination of jewel rhinestones and gold sequins really makes this card sparkle and shine.
My final swap card was for a private Founders Circle swap. My friend Kim Williams shared this idea with me as she was doing a pop up butterfly card using this same template. I was really pleased with how this card turned out. I hope you will enjoy it too.
