Unexpected Blessings

Happy Aloha Friday everyone!  Today I am especially happy because I was doubly blessed with not one but two ADORABLE cards created by one of my favorite stampers, Jodi.  I've been blessed to have Jodi as a member of my downline for the past 10 years and I am always so amazed at the projects she comes up with.

These two cards are both made with our fabulous punches.  I love the color scheme Jodi choose and  how she perfectly placed each punched piece to give these characters personality.  Here's a closer look.

Minion cards are extremely popular right now.  In fact, I'm doing one in my stamp a stack class this month that was inspired by one of my favorite convention swaps.  The thing I love about this card is that you see the entire minion body.  Can you imagine a card that had lots of these mini minions on it, all with different expressions?  I just think he is adorable, he makes me happy and I think Jodi chose the perfect sentiment as this truly is a "woo hoo" kind of card.

Isn't she SWEET?  I can't stop looking at her cute face.  I LOVE this card.  I can't wait to case this card for my next stamp a stack.   Trimming her bangs and adding some rosy cheeks added the perfect touches to make this card really special.  I think this is a perfect friendship card and I know Jodi made me feel like a good friend when she unexpectedly gave me a card as adorable as this one.

Can you see why I feel doubly blessed?

We give hand stamped cards for all occasions, birthday's and thank you's are probably the most popular.  I think the difference between receiving those cards and a card that simply says, "I'm Thinking of You" is that it is often unexpected.  I know receiving these cards from Jodi made me really happy and special.  Jodi's unexpected gift of aloha inspired me so much that this week I hope to send some unexpected stamped blessings of my own!  Perhaps you'd like to join me and together we can bless someone with a hand stamped card.  Remember, together we CAN make a difference, one stamp at a time!
