August Inspiration Night

Inspiration Night is one of my favorite nights of the month.  However any Inspiration Night that follows a Stampin' Up! event usually has extra high attendance because everyone is so anxious to hear the highlights and be inspired by all the swaps we bring home.

This gathering had "loads" of convention inspiration.  This photo shows just PART of the room where we had tons of swaps to take photos of and be inspired by.

At the beginning of each gathering I give recognition.  This was the card I gave for all who qualified for my TOP TEN in sales for the month of July.

When I was finished sharing some highlights and giving instructions for the night, my design team came up and surprised me with some very kind words.  They wanted the rest of the group to know about the Heart of Stampin' Up! award I was blessed to receive.

These ladies made me feel very special.  I was touched by their kind words and all the love and aloha that was shared.

Then it was time to stamp!  Each of my design team came up with a project that was inspired by convention or was created with something they won as a prize at convention.

I think Cyndie did a beautiful job on this card.  She said the "kissing" technique is challenging for her so creating this was a little bit out of her comfort zone.  Its funny cause sometimes in life its those times "out of your comfort zone" that help you to grow the most.  I think she did a wonderful job on this card.

Terry's card was inspired by one of our make and takes at convention.  You had to "fussy cut" your favorite images from the Home for the Holidays DSP which you know is my new favorite.  Love this card!  "Hi, Santa", I'll be seeing you real soon on another project!!!

Eve's card uses white craft ink and was created with a set she won at convention.  When she looked at the set she wasn't quite sure how to use it but she got her inspiration from a card that Sara demoed on stage.  I don't use white craft ink that often so I'm glad she choose to use it and show what you can do with it.  I really like how this came out.

Michelle leads a very busy life!  I have no idea how she found time to create this fabulous packet with our new pillow box die.  She filled the box with 3 small note cards (pictured below).  Who wouldn't love to receive a cute packet like this during the holidays?

Here's a closer look at the cute cards inside.  Like all the other projects they are embellished with our metallic doilies as that was the featured product of the night.

Finally, Zeny created this mini treat bag using only part of the mini treat bag thinlets.  This adorable pouch holds 3 quick and simple gift tags.  Love this idea!!

It was pouring rain outside but that didn't dampen the aloha spirit in the room.  Occasionally, I would hear Ann's contagious laughter that I recognize when she is at my house for Bunco.  I told her that when I hear her laugh, it always makes me smile.  I love to be in an environment where people are enjoying themselves and having fun.

I hope that everyone who came had an enjoyable time and left feeling inspired.  Hope you feel inspired too, thanks for stopping by!
