I can't believe Christmas is tomorrow. I truly feel that it is the most wonderful time of the year and I love everything about this season!
Every year I make a photo card to send. My daughter is a very talented photographer so we can just head out to a location as a family and she takes the photo with her remote control. Even though we live under the same roof we don't always get to spend a lot of quality time together so I loved having this time to head up to Aiea heights as a family and capture some fun moments.
I have to admit when we saw the photos I had to choose from, I was very tempted to send this funny one. I decided that not everyone would understand the humor so I went with the first happy photo and only sent this one to a very select few who I thought would appreciate the humor.
Sending a photo card is a fun way to keep in touch with family and friends and you can do something simple like I have here where I didn't even crop the photo. I just used a larger piece of card stock and added a fun sentiment, a few embellishments and a simple embossed border. I not only like sending these cards but I love to receive them and see the smiling faces of so many special friends and family.
Well, I'm off to sing at our Christmas Eve service at the Kapolei Campus. If you are free this evening and want to attend, it would be great to have you join us. Its going to be a great service, with an inspiring message, worship music, beautiful hula dancing and I heard its even going to snow!
I wish you all a very jolly, happy and blessed Christmas weekend. I pray that you will enjoy being with those you love and that no matter where you are at or what you are experiencing that you will find hope in Jesus who is the reason for the season. May He bless you with peace, joy and a sense of his presence drawing close to you as you put your trust in Him.
Have a very Merry Christmas!
