Christmas is coming! So in an effort to be better prepared this year I did my first ever ALL Christmas Card stamp a stack in October.
Normally when you come to my stack class you will use a Big Shot for sure but at this months stack I focused on Designer Series Paper and embellishments. I wanted to make these cards as quick and simple as possible because often when making Christmas Cards you have to make several of the same design to send to your family and friends.
This card features the holly stamp from the Embellished Ornaments stamp set. Its such a pretty stamp! I colored the berries with a blender pen and red ink pad and then I added rhinestones in various sizes that had been colored with a red sharpie pen. The red foil paper underneath the sentiment also adds shine and coordinates well with the rhinestones.
I can't get enough of this Reason for the Season Stamp set. I love the vintage look and really love the greeting. This card features two Designer Series Papers. The one on the left is from the Home for Christmas collection. I love how the design is the musical notes for the song Silent Night. The DSP on the right is from Merry Moments which is a great small stack of designer paper with only four different patterns which makes it perfect to do multiple cards with the same designer paper. This card is embellished with one of our new iced rhinestones.
This card features our wooden snowflakes and is created using the Wonderland stamp set. The funny thing about this set is so many people who look at it ask the same question? Why are their antlers in that set?? So I was determined to find a way to use the antlers which led to my final card.
Here it is! I always save the best for last. Isn't he cute? And the wording fits perfectly, "all is calm all is BRIGHT" just like his bright shiny nose made from one of our embellished dots.
I hope you like these quick and simple holiday card designs and will be inspired to begin to create your Holiday cards a little earlier this year.
