I am so excited to be a part of today's blog hop because the timing couldn't be more perfect. I LOVE project life by Stampin' Up! because it gives me the opportunity to capture life's most precious moments in a quick and simple way.
Speaking of precious moments, I want you all to meet Jayce.
Jayce is the son of my customer and friend Penny. He arrived a little earlier than expected so he has spent his first few weeks at the hospital. Penny assured me that he is doing well and will be able to come home soon! Penny is a scrapbooker so I wanted to create a project life page for her using our Hello Baby Boy card collection.
I only needed to add minimal stamping to personalize this page because the cards themselves are so sweet and cute, just like Jayce! One tip is when you have a sheet protector that doesn't fit the size card you need you can just attach your smaller cards to a larger cardstock. For instance the top left and bottom right pockets were for a 4 x 6 card but I was able to make a 4 x 6 card and then attach to smaller 2 x 3 cards to it to make it fit the way I wanted it to.
There is so much more you can do with Project Life. In fact since little Jayce is still in the hospital I thought it would be great to take the cards from this page and give them to Penny as a banner.
That way she can hang it up in the hospital to decorate his room.
And when he comes home she can hang it up in her house to welcome him home for the first time!
Then when Mom is ready she can fill out one of these adorable pre printed cards and in just a matter of minutes she can put the page together and record all the special memories of Jayce and his family as they celebrate the little blessing that he is.
Project Life is an incredible tool for preserving precious memories. I hope you will enjoy seeing all the other fun and creative ideas you can do with this amazing system as you participate in our blog hop today. And I hope you will be inspired to use it to record your life adventures to preserve lasting memories of all of your most precious moments.
